Anna Groß i Ola Bilewicz

Esgo is a new consulting agency specializing in public relations and marketing strategies. It supports brands in building effective and transparent communication within the realm of sustainable development. The company is led by its founders, Anna Groß and Ola Bilewicz.

Although the term ESG still sounds new to some companies, an increasing number are aware of the obligations and expectations set out in the European Green Deal, the CSRD directive, UN goals, and the Paris Agreement. In particular, the area of non-financial reporting—which concerns an organization’s impact on the environment and society—remains a challenge for many firms.

It is estimated that every fourth listed company lacks the appropriate human resources and knowledge to meet the challenges on the path to sustainable development. There is a shortage of ESG specialists in the market, while the pressure to adapt to new regulations is growing. Obligations related not only to reporting and process optimization but also to appropriate communication, combined with the risk of greenwashing, are affecting more and more entities. Esgo is the answer to these needs. Our agency was established to support the growth of companies through sustainable communication – says Anna Groß, Managing Partner, esgo.

Esgo offers services in public relations (media relations, coalition building, CSR, social media), as well as marketing strategies including brand building (including personal branding), digital and content marketing, and expanding companies into new markets. What clearly distinguishes esgo from other consultancies is its focus on systematizing corporate actions that serve the achievement of sustainable development goals. The agency’s experts suggest solutions and point out the paths worth taking to not only fulfill environmental and social promises but also to stand out from the competition.

Discussions with clients and business partners, mainly from the real estate sector, have confirmed my belief that a lack of standards and uniform guidelines for ESG reporting discourages companies from addressing sustainable development in their communication. They often limit it to the absolute minimum. We encourage them to change their perspective and to see the building of a conscious strategy and transparent, active ESG communication as an opportunity to increase the value of their organization or brand. Companies that appreciate this potential can already consider themselves winners in the race across competitive markets – says Ola Bilewicz, Managing Partner, esgo.

Currently, esgo supports companies in communication activities in the Polish, Czech, and German markets, implementing, among others, a comprehensive communication strategy for 7R, a high-quality warehouse developer and industry leader in decarbonization. The agency has also begun cooperation with Browary Warszawskie—one of the flagship “destination” projects developed by Echo Investment. Esgo’s role is to support and promote initiatives organized by Browary Warszawskie for all visitors, including local communities.

The founders of the esgo agency are Anna Groß and Ola Bilewicz, who for nearly 20 years have been implementing and successfully executing communication and marketing strategies for Polish and international brands, including in foreign markets.

Having previously worked for Nrep, Accolade, Urban Land Institute Poland, Apsys, UNIQA Insurance Group, mBank, Vodafone, and BAVEST, Anna Groß has held roles such as press spokesperson, advisor, and marketing director.

Ola Bilewicz gained professional experience both in agency work and while working for companies as a PR and marketing manager and press spokesperson. She has represented brands such as HB Reavis (Varso Tower), Echo Investment (Browary Warszawskie), ITRA Polska, UNIQA Insurance Group, InviMed fertility clinics (Medicover Group), Nutricia, Neinver, GTC, and Hochtief.
